Make your way this December 2 & 3 to Guanajuato Capital for Catar Mexico’s 4th annual wine tasting event – Cumbre del Vino Mexicano. At this year’s event there will be more than 40 wineries from eight states around Mexico. These two days will be a wine lover’s special retreat.
Over the two days of this event, those attending will be taken on a cultural ride of Mexican wine and the masters who make it. There will be six workshops taking place in various locations like Casa Del Conde Rul and Guanajuato’s historic center. For those who like wine and chocolate, there will be a tasting with chocolate on the first day, presented by Santa Elena Winery and Chocolatier Jonathan Martinez. If you ever wondered or wanted to try your hand at wine making then there will be a workshop on making your own wine. Everybody knows that good wine belongs with good food, and this event will include a wide gastronomic selection. Resturants will have delicious meals prepared in the evenings for guests to enjoy along with a glass of the best Mexican wine. Some of the wineries that will be present at Catar Mexico are: Cuna de Tierra, Don Leo, Santa Elena Winery, Casa Reyes Mota, and Casa Madero.
Catar Mexico brings together the best wineries in the country in order to develop a closer connection with wine producers and consumers. Visitors will be able to experience a more dynamic appreciation of wine through a historic, cultural, and artistic point of view while promoting all aspects of Mexican culture.
Ticket prices are $350 pesos for either Day One or Two; $600 pesos to attend both days.
