In grand style and with much fanfare La Santisima Trinidad was the proud host to the first Challenge Polo Cup in Mexico. The Challenge Cup is held every year in different countries around the world but this year was enjoyed with the back drop of San Miguel de Allende and the vineyards, lavender and olive trees of the stunning and exclusive community of La Santisima Trinidad.
The event was held on the U.S. Independence Day with the U.S. team pitted against its neighbors to the south, Mexico…and won by the visiting Americans, a good tribute to the celebration of the 4th of July.
Hosted by Porsche and La Santisima, attendees enjoyed the polo from beautiful tent areas where guests enjoyed great food and hundreds of bottles of La Santisima Trinidad wine. Important to note here, the wine produced in conjunction with local Cuna de Tierra was as smooth as it was delicious. All the senses were in play at this world class event.
The exclusive and gated community of La Santisima boasts 117 acres that consist of 45 large homesites almost one-hectare which approximately 80% is dedicated to its vineyards of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Merlot, hundreds of olive trees and flowing lavender fields.
