The San Miguel Food Festival will be held this year from June 30 to July 2, showcasing the culinary talents of national and international chefs such as Raphael Lunetta from Santa Monica, CA, Evan Mallet from New Hampshire and French chef Guy Santoro from Mexico City, and other international acclaimed talents from the best restaurants in the world.
If you prefer Mexican food from Chevy’s or El Toritos, then you might want to just stay at home. This is not just about tacos, enchiladas and tequila here but about the spirit and flavor of Mexico’s exploding culinary scene. And we are sure there will be some great San Miguel de Allende wines on hand to accompany the best flavors of Mexico that will be featured here.
And the backdrop of San Miguel and its historic charm and endless rooftop terraces make this an ideal destination for this or any sort of food or wine festival because of its proximity to Mexico City’s new gastronomic fame.
The food festival will kick-off June 30th, but on June 28th, a special dinner will be held in San Miguel de Allende a city recognized worldwide for its historical richness. The funds raised will go to benefit the Center for Integral Rehabilitation (CRISMA).
In this particular foodie concept known as “pop up”, attendees will try innovative dishes prepared by international and national chefs, in a space specially created by local artists known as “The Chef’s Table”. This will be an amazing start to a great weekend of food, fun, wine and music.
